Meet the Counseling Staff

My name is Tiffany Gomez and this is my sixth year as a counselor at Heritage High School and I absolutely love being a Jaguar. I received my BA in Psychology and Sociology from Dallas Baptist University in December of 2001 and my M. Ed. in Counseling from the University of North Texas in December of 2007.

A little background on my experience, I taught special education for Red Oak ISD in the resource classroom before becoming a school counselor in Duncanville ISD. I left education for a time when my children were small and I worked in private practice specializing in adolescents as well as using play therapy techniques for younger children. Additionally, I did behavior skills training as a QMHP for Covenant Kids, serving children placed in foster care and their families. While I loved what I did, education offered me the ability to get back on the same schedule as my own kids. I was fortunate enough to join the Heritage team and I am so glad that I did.

I am married to Billy Gomez and we have three amazing daughters, Jordan, Hayden, and Payton. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially watching my girls pursue their passions and activities. Cooking and baking are my two main hobbies. In addition to that I spend time being a dog mom to three four-legged rescue babies.

My name is Stacie Bailey and this is my fourth year as a counselor at Heritage High School.  I have been in education for  21 years.  I  was a teacher in Duncanville ISD and have been a school counselor in Mesquite and Desoto ISD.  I received my Bachelor’s of Science in interdisciplinary Studies degree from Texas A&M Commerce and my Master’s of School Counseling degree from Dallas Baptist University.
