Senior scholarships will be posted in a new location this year. Each student has access to a program called NAVIANCE. What is Naviance? Naviance is a college and career readiness program to help students in our district to get involved in the planning and advising process, research colleges and careers, and plan for the future. Naviance also lets us share information with students about upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other resources for college and career information.
To Sign onto Naviance:
- On your device, go to “Class Link” .
- Username (ID #) and password
- Choose “Naviance” icon.
- Choose “COLLEGES” in tabs at top of page
- Choose “SCHOLARSHIPS/MONEY in drop down
- Choose “SCHOLARSHIP MATCH” in drop down
You will notice there will be “National” and “Local” scholarships. The Local will be our Memorial Scholarships, Sports and local organization scholarships.
Please follow the directions completely. For additional information needed such as your GPA and rank, see Mrs. Thomas in the Counseling Center or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The scholarships listed in Naviance cover a wide variety of local, state and national scholarships. We do our best to maintain current and relevant scholarships for our students.

College Board Scholarships
The College Board has launched a new scholarship program with $5 million of scholarships each year, beginning with the class of 2020. To learn more, visit the College Board website here.
Federal Student Aid Resources:
U.S. Department of Education has a Federal Student Aid website with information about preparing for college, types of aid and eligibility, the FAFSA process, and other resources. Check with your college for specific FAFSA deadlines and other financial assistance programs. Remember to fill the FAFSA out as soon as possible.
Trade School Scholarships
Plan on attending a Trade School after high school? Visit Imagine America's website to view a short list of Texas trade schools participating in their scholarship program.
Trade certifications from these schools include areas of study like automotive technology, diesel technology, massage therapy, HVAC, Welding, and more.
